Super Bowl XLIII

Super Bowl XLIII was quite the intriguing match-up with the NFL’s elite going at it for one last game, this time for all the marbles. Both teams had a lot going for them, so predicting the winner of Superbowl XLIII was a challenge indeed.

On the one hand you had Arizona, which was selling Super Bowl tickets left and right ever since the team beat the Eagles. If you had called the Arizona Cardinals to make Superbowl XLIII in the pre-season, people would have thought you were crazy. But they looked very good all year, and heading into the Super Bowl their confidence was sky high, looking to make history against the Steelers. There were plenty of haters all season long, but the Cardinals continued to win and now even the hatingest hatter have to admit the team can play. They shut down a solid Atlanta, downright embarrassed a talented Panthers team, and were able to keep focused against the Eagles and win when they needed to. It was an incredible year for the Kurt Warner-led crew, and the team’s hard work was rewarded with the franchise’s first ever Superbowl appearance. It was a long wait for Cardinals fans to have a good team, so we saw a ton of demand for Arizona Cardinals tickets all season long. Now the team has to regroup, and focus on putting together another winning season.

Unfortunately for Arizona, they faced a team that prides itself on hard work, playing for the entire game, and not making mistakes. While they had a few during the Super Bowl, it was not enough to keep the Pittsburgh Steelers from winning their NFL-leading sixth Lombardi Trophy. With a fan following as rabid as the Steelers’, fans were looking high and low for Pittsburgh Steelers tickets all season long. These guys were the Vegas favorite out of the gates, and were a formidable foe indeed for the Cardinals. It was a great game for everyone with Super Bowl tickets. Big Ben did what he needed to do, and now has his second Superbowl trophy in four years; quite an accomplishment in an NFL League that is as competitive as ever!
